With the windows shut, the river is a soft background sound; with them open, it is very present. The club, NEXT, usually opens from around 11 pm to 3 am; the days vary, and their website keeps them up to date. What you notice is the bass rather than the music.

On weeknights and in winter, most of our guests don’t hear a thing. If you are a very light sleeper, choose a weeknight.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us before they come.

No, not outside.

Is there parking?

The Moulin is in a pedestrian zone. It is better to come without a car: Strasbourg station is a quarter of an hour’s walk away.

If you come by car, you can stop to unload on the small place des Moulins, 15 m away (paid). The cheapest car park is Centre historique Petite France, rue de Molsheim: 900 m on foot, flat rate €15 for 24 h.

Four, in the two bedrooms.

How many people can stay?

Four guests at most, in two bedrooms: one 160 × 200 bed in one, two 90 × 200 beds in the other. The apartment is let as a whole; nobody else is there. It is all on one level: no stairs inside. There are a few steps at the building’s entrance.

No, there are fans.

Is there air conditioning?

Guests regularly mention how much they liked the bedroom fans, but during heatwaves the apartment stays warm. Worth bearing in mind for a stay in July or August.

Yes, gladly.

And with children?

Forty-one family stays appear in the reviews. Children like watching the boats go by from the windows.

They are provided.

Do I need to bring earplugs?

They are waiting for you in the apartment, free of charge. They are enough for most guests, though not all: if you are a very light sleeper, choose weeknights.

16 h → 11 h.

What time is check-in?

Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 11 am. A detailed arrival guide is sent before your stay; reviews describe it as clear and well put together.
